At Dusk was born on 1996, and became an official project in 1997 under the guidance of its original line-up, which was: Ana Carolina Escobar (Vocals), Jaime Gomez (Vocals), Gustavo Montaña (Guitars), Jorge Rengifo (Drums), Andres Mejia (Keyboards) and Christian Montenegro (Bass). This line-up recorded the Demo “Beginning Ebb”.
A year later new members joined the band, and old ones returned to their other projects. Andres Mejia returned to Lucera, and Christian Montenegro went back full time to Misty Fate. The new members were: Luis Carlos Ochoa (Bass and Keyboards) and Mauricio Ochoa (Second Guitar), and by the hand of these two new members the second era of At Dusk began; Era that lasted 2 more years, and on 2001 in the middle of the recording of the new album “For my Angeldusk” the band went through difficult times that lead them to leave the project hanging on a standby mode that gradually went into a deep coma (You can still hear a faint heart-beat through the remains of that era: “For my Angeldusk “and “Scorpions And Doves”).
Nowadays the only “comatose” remaining members are: Ana, Gomez and Gustavo, the three archetypical foundations of what ever was, still is and will always be, At Dusk. On 2009 the idea of reviving At Dusk was conceived, the music never died and the pain never went away, now is deeper and enlightening, now is pure; so now you can wait in silence until a new, deconstructed taste of existence emerge from our souls. To all of our old and new fans, supporters, old members and whoever is to join our dysfunctional reality, we salute you and give our eternal gratitude. Cheers!!
